2025 Mountain Brook Battle of the Badges

The 2nd Annual Mountain Brook Battle of the Badges charity softball game is set to take place on September 2nd, 2025. The event will begin with the singing of the National Anthem and a presentation of the Colors at 5:30 pm on MBHS Rec Field 1. This friendly competition between the Mountain Brook Police Department and the Mountain Brook Fire Department raises awareness for veteran suicide prevention with proceeds from the event benefitting the Alabama based non profit Ultimate Experience Outdoors. UXO provides outdoor adventure opportunities to Veterans, First Responders, Disabled Children, and Gold Star Families as a way of providing therapy and fellowship. This event is free to the public with concessions available for purchase thanks to Mountain Brook Athletics. There will also be plenty of fun activities for children at the event.
