Art in the Village returns on Saturday, May 2, 9am -4:30pm! Charming Crestline Village is the perfect setting for this annual community event. Well known for 45 years, Mtn. Brook Art Association artists will be offering high quality fine art paintings and drawings.

Visit with artists and mingle with friends both inside and outside Mtn. Brook’s City Hall. Shop the works of more than 55 Mountain Brook Art Association artists, many award winning and regionally known. Enjoy the Floral Art Competition where artists create their own interpretation of floral arrangements, designed by Ashley Johnson with Joy Abloom Florals of Birmingham. Also on sale at the show will be paintings by well-known artist and long-time MBAA member, Janet Tillery (1929-2023), who generously donated these treasured pieces to the association. Her many works include paintings done on location in Maine, Mexico, Italy, the Caribbean, France, New Mexico, Portugal, etc. and are in many private and corporate collections.

Mountain Brook Art Association is a community of artists who live within a 25- mile radius of Mtn. Brook. Members encourage one another to grow and refine their art skills by attending monthly meetings and painting demos. Since 1981, the association’s group shows have helped build and form many professional art careers and continue to create interest in art across the community. Admission and parking is free. The show is pet friendly and handicapped accessible.
